Barr Foundation, The

Center for International Rehabilitation 

Mission:

The Center for International Rehabilitation (CIR) is a Chicago-based not-for-profit organization that develops research, education and advocacy programs to assist people with disabilities worldwide in achieving their full potential.

Countries Served:

The Rehabilitation Engineering Research Center (RERC) and E-learning department serve El Salvador, Honduras, Nicaragua, Guatemala, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Slovenia, Afghanistan, Tanzania, and India. The International Disability Rights Monitor (IDRM) has produced regional reports covering all countries within Asia and the Americas.

Florida O&P Outreach Team 

Mission:

The FOOT Foundation – Florida O&P Outreach Team was formed to provide orthotic and prosthetic services to children and adults of impoverished countries. The Orthotic and Prosthetic Assistance Fund (OPAF) is a nonprofit, 501(c)(3) public charity and the official philanthropy of the U.S. orthotics and prosthetics (O&P) community.
